Why do we work with small wine producers with good practices? Because commercial wines are seriously gross!
We care about these beautiful grapes, but your mass produced commercial wine producers kinda don’t…
These mass produced commercial wines legit have chemicals and additives that cover up crushed up insects, birds and rats or other animals that live in the area where mass produced wines are produced. Why? Because these large producers use equipment for mechanical harvesting that pick 80-200 tons of grapes per day. Because a machine picks the grapes, animals as well as unripe, unhealthy and rotted grapes make it in to the bunches that are crushed and bottled into the cheap wine sold to you.
It is well understood that the blood, rotted fruit & inorganic arsenic soaking in unfiltered well water found in mass produced wines likely contribute to wine headaches or feeling like ‘crap’ after ‘enjoying’ a glass or two.
